Loves Rubberstamps "Tuesday Challenge" featuring "Prima Doll with Swing Dress" canvas

Hello and welcome to the Loves Rubberstamps Tuesday Challenge! Hope everyone is having a great week.  Can you believe it is November already?  Time is just flying so fast!!!
So  this week is the favorite "Anything Goes"!!!

Our wonderful sponsor for this week's challenge is The Cutting Cafe!!

The Cutting Cafe

Here is my project...

I decided to make a canvas using another Prima doll called Prima Doll with Swing Dress.  I thought this doll was so glamorous looking so I decided to give her a lot of pink and sparkle.  I also went for a mixed media arts look with this canvas.  I colored up my doll using the Copic Marker Color Fusion Trio 2 Sketch markers set.  I then pretty much added a bunch of flowers and embellishments which I gesso'd and then sprayed over with various pink shades using my Tattered Angels glimmer mists.  I also did a lilttle bit of stenciling in the background.  I think I needed to spend more time drying in between which would have probably made some of the art mediums such as the sculpting paste stand out a little more.  But I guess it's sometimes the impatient side of me that wants to get to the finished creation fast! LOL  I'm still learning this technique too so the more I practice will help me get used to using these products. Anyways, for the most part, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I do love the Prima Light bulb "Sweet" which is from the Prima Junkyard Findings.  These trinkets are so much fun to use in projects.  The sentiment "Dream" is also from a Prima Stamp set.

Other supplies used on my project:
Black Tuxedo-Memento Ink
Flowers-Wild Orchid Crafts

Please check out the Loves Rubberstamps store to see supplies used on my card.  Also, check out the Loves Rubberstamps Challenge blog to see what other  projects the rest of the Design Team made.  If you want to join this fun challenge, I'll post the details below and you could have a chance to win some great prizes form the store!

Hope you all like my Prima doll canvas! Have a wonderful week and thanks so much for stopping by to visit! :)
